Saturday 29th March – 2pm	Work day meeting at the entrance to the woods. Activity - Litter pick
Sunday 20th April – 2pm	Easter Egg Hunt Come along to our family Egg Hunt aimed at Nursery and Primary-age children at 2pm on Sunday 20th April. The Egg Hunt will be followed by a barbeque/picnic. Please bring your own food for the barbeque
Saturday 26th April – 2pm	Work day meeting at the entrance to the woods. Activity - Pond maintenance
Sunday 11th May – 10am	Learn about our birdlife with the RSPB ranger
Friday 30th May – 6pm	Minibeast Hunt – Learn about local insects. Aimed at accompanied children – must be booked in advance. An Outdoor Access Ranger will be in the car park around 5.45pm for meeting at 6pm. The event will last around 1 ½ hours and can accommodate 20 children of any age. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. The Ranger Service number is 01324 504950 to book a place.

Badger Watch
Friday 25th April

Badger Watch at Muiravonside Country Park Ranger Centre at 8.15pm on Friday 25th April – Limited places so please book with Dave Bennet on 630999 or dave.bennet@blueyonder.co.uk. This event is not suitable for children under 8.

Central Scotland Forest Trust

Central Scotland Forest Trust has arranged two planting events around the small football pitch off Falkirk Road. A school planting event is planned for Friday 28 March 2008 and a community planting event on Saturday 29 March 2008.

The schools will plant up a linear feature to the south of the football pitch. The community will plant up the raised bank to the north of the pitch with sessile oak and ash. This event is planned to start at 11 am.

Residents will have the opportunity to plant a tree (or more) and secure a tree guard. Trees, spades and gloves will be provided. Suitable clothing and footwear is advised depending on the weather. Access will be taken off Falkirk Road between the football pitch and the garages.
